We promote and strengthen participation, inclusion and empowerment of young people in decision-making in the fields of education, politics and business.
We make youth participation come alive;
What;
Youth Participation;
How ↯
In order to support youth and empower them to participate and voice their opinion, we bring together young people around the globe. By creating a learning environment to improve skills, gain knowledge and strengthen competencies, we are building a strong community and creating rooms for exchange and connection among youths from different countries and backgrounds.
What;
Network for Exchange and Cooperation;
We create an international network for exchange, connection and cooperation among young people as well as decision-makers from the fields of education, politics and business.
From designing school curricula to city planning or establishing working conditions for the future workforce: Not only are young people directly affected by decisions being made in these fields and should therefore be heard, but they also have a great influence on these sectors.
By bringing young people to the table and taking into account their points of view
- needs can be assessed
- trends, developments or potential challenges can be anticipated and
- decision-making can be improved.
How ↯
We create, explore and improve participation processes: We design and implement interactive and co-creative formats and tools like workshops, focus groups, seminars, events, field trips or youth advisory committees to create a space for exchange between young people and stakeholders from the education, politics or business sector and find innovative methods and tools to include youth participation in decision-making.
Why;
With geopolitical conflicts on the rise and our planet heating up, the future of a whole generation of young people is at stake. However, in many cases decisions are made without involving those who will be affected the most. What applies to global challenges is also true for the local level:
Whether it’s policy-making in their communities, deciding how and what to learn in school or having a say in shaping their work environments: There is a lack of communication between the young generation and decision-makers in politics, education and business. Youth does not feel seen or heard – a fact well-documented by a number of studies (see left).
So let’s make youth heard and join the conversation: Right you, right now!
